Experience the beauty of Buddhist painting, Japanese style painting, and Sculpture!
Long-awaited by fans at home and abroad First exhibition in Japan!
A “three-person exhibition” will be held by Koji Kinutani, a Western-style painter who is a recipient of the Order of Culture, his eldest son Kota Kinutani, a sculptor, and his second daughter Kanako Kinutani, a Japanese-style painter. Koji Kinutani first encountered afresco painting at Tokyo University of the Arts, and went to Italy to study. In 1997, he created the original “Goddess of Silver Ridge” for the official poster of the Nagano Winter Olympics. His bold compositions, pop devices, and rich colors are known as the “KINUTANI WORLD”. Kota Kinutani creates sculptures with a strong presence using huge stones and wood as materials, and is active worldwide. Kanako Kinutani paints monotone Japanese paintings depicting animals and has held a series of solo exhibitions in various locations. This exhibition will feature approximately 40 of Koji Kinutani's representative works, as well as dynamic sculptures and serene Japanese paintings, for a total of approximately 70 works. We hope you will enjoy the first “Koji Kinutani Three Artists, Father and Children” exhibition in Japan, where art of different genres resonate with each other.
